Regarding the photographs from Macon State College (now known as Middle Georgia State University), here's what I said when the gallery was first posted: Initially planted in the late 1960s, the grounds contained several botanical gardens, countless flowers, and large stands of pine trees. No more. I'd estimate that less than 20% of MSC's trees survived. Many of the buildings were damaged, as well.
(Coincidentally, I'd photographed the MSC/MGA campus only a few weeks before.)
